With nearly 25 years under the hood, Brock opened Tex Tune Automotive in 2021 to bring a higher standard of honesty to Austin’s automotive repair scene. His career spans decades of hands-on expertise—from serving as a store trainer and mentor technician in major corporate environments to honing his craft in independent shops. While he is a specialist in Toyota, Honda, and Subaru, his deep knowledge covers nearly every domestic and import make on the road.

At Tex Tune Automotive, the goal is simple: providing the local community with straightforward, no-nonsense repair recommendations. He takes pride in making sure customers feel confident and informed every step of the way.

He’s also been deeply rooted in Austin's garage punk scene since the early 1990s, playing in local bands and staying connected to the music community. Tex Tune Automotive has hosted garage punk shows like Ghouls at the Garage and Tex Tune Trials, keeping the spirit of Austin’s DIY culture alive. Outside the shop, Brock enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and their two rescue dogs, Flaco and Jolene.
